Covid Marketing FAQ's and T&C's

Frequently Asked Questions

The Banner comes in a useful zip bag, complete with shoulder strap. Once you’ve unzipped the bag and removed the roller banner cassette, you can open the hinged front section (where the extendable pole is neatly stored).

Open the pole lock, extend the pole to 200cm and close the catch to ensure it locks into place.

Pull up the roller banner, attach the pole to the centre of the protective metal strip, and extend the banner to its full length of 200cm.  Be careful not to extend the banner further, as you may damage the spring loaded mechanism contained in the base cassette. The pole needs to sit comfortably in the hole.

When you've finished displaying the banner, remove the holding pole and gently slip the banner back into the receiving cradle in the base.

It is very important that the banner is slotted back into the cassette evenly, as otherwise, the spring loaded mechanism may damage the vinyl banner.

A minimum of 150cm from your computer or phone camera to the roller banner is needed to effectively use the available space on a zoom call.

It helps if the camera on your computer or phone is able to tilt slightly, so you can use the video preview (Settings > Video) on zoom to place the banner in the best location for you.  'Mirror my video' shouldn't be turned on.

Covid Marketing

Marketing in the time of the Coronavirus.

If like me, you don't enjoy talking 'off the cuff', video networking can be a bit of an anxious time, so I've put together some tools to help me network, that might be of some help to you too.

1) Know your USP. A surprising number of people talk about their companies without getting to a good reason why you should work with them. Your Unique Selling Proposition is vital. What makes you different to your competitors, whether it's price, performance or service. Your elevator pitch should be emphasising your benefits, not your features.

If you don't know what your USP is, we can help. With over 40 years experience in marketing we can sniff out the most unlikely of USP's wherever they're lurking. Luckily this can all be done on the phone, by email or video call.

2) Be memorable. On a Zoom call, most cameras show a landscape area and most people take up maybe a third of the available space. If you want people to see how nice your home is, that's fine, but that space could be used to get across your USP and ensure that people remember your company's services or products. A simple pop up banner can hide an untidy background and make the most of your digital space.

If you have a strong USP, we can put together a design led message for only £150.00 (inc VAT) which includes the cost of a standard roller banner. If your USP needs to be communicated in a more visible way, as ours does, for £600.00 (inc VAT), we'll come up with 3-4 ideas, write, design and artwork your banner using your existing digital assets or where appropriate, shoot some new images for you.

We understand that marketing budgets are under stress at the moment, so we're happy to talk about deferring 75% of the payment of the creative work for sole traders and smaller SME's. You'll only pay an initial 25% of the creative work, the cost of the premium pull up banner and delivery, with the remaining 75% due over the next nine months.

And if you don't have a USP, for an extra fee we can put together concepts or designs that communicate your sales message simply and directly to your clients, prospects or staff.

3) Be even more memorable. In the likely recession that’s coming, when we can network in person again, both you and your competitors are going to be chasing the same smaller pool of potential clients, so your USP needs to be stronger and more memorable than theirs. Before Covid we created a series of 3D mailers to hand out at networking events. The three shown above are the ones we use, but we can create bespoke versions for you to promote your USP.

4) Lumpy mail is always opened. If you have have a small list of high worth prospects that both you and your competitors are looking to work with, posting bespoke 3D mailers is a great way to stand out from the crowd. And if prospects remember your USP, you're one step closer to turning them into clients.
Our USP? We help companies - large or small - communicate their USP simply and effectively, by creating memorable marketing, in pixels and print. And if you're not sure what your USP is, we'll help you develop one.
